Central Monitoring Station
All SSMi clients with Intrusion and Fire Alarm Systems can be monitored by the Central Monitoring Station, one of the most important elements of any effective security alarm system. The CMS can monitor security systems installed in homes and businesses 24 s 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; and can receive alarm or trouble signals within seconds after a sensor is set off at a secured area.
This 24-hour state of the art technology wonder facility is manned by highly trained SIA certified alarm operators who will verify alarms and dispatch the police/fire authorities quickly when there are indicators of a possible emergency. The dispatch operators will contact the client with the status of the alarm system and their establishment when the emergency has been taken cared of.
Why avail the Monitoring Service?
When your Security System is monitored:
Police and Fire Authorities’ responses to false alarms will be reduced or eliminated.
Gives clients the piece of mind that someone; is guarding their home when they are out or somebody is watching over your business after office hours.
Assures clients that somebody is ready to help even if the next door neighbor is a few kilometers away.
Takes away the cost for security personnel or caretakers when owners are out on a vacation. (Especially nowadays when a trustworthy person is a rare commodity) How the Central Station Operates
1. When the system detects an intruder, smoke/fire, or a trouble in your system; the systems immediately send the alarm signals to the Central Station Alarm Receivers of SSMi monitoring center Alarm Central.
2. The CS Operators will then call client to verify the alarm. A client-assigned password will be asked from the person who answered the call to authenticate the identity of that person.
3. When client’s identity is authenticated and he/she reports that there is no problem, then the operator will instruct client to reset (re-arm) the system.
4. When there is no answer in client’s contact numbers, operators will immediately dispatch authorities.
5. When client reports a real alarm, CS Operator quickly calls Police/ Fire department nearest to client to respond to emergency.
Quality Inspection Program/Preventive Maintenance
A quality customer experience starts with a quality installation!
SSMi Quality Inspection Program ensures that all Installers are installing at the highest level of quality.
The primary goal of preventive maintenance is to prevent the failure of equipment before it actually occurs. It is designed to preserve and enhance equipment reliability by replacing worn components before they actually fail.
SSMi offers an annual PM Servicing Program which covers a wide range of services; from inspection, cleaning, adjustments, to replacements of sensors, but however excludes rewiring. The program is composed of two visits in a year ensuring your detectors, sensors, batteries, keypads, wires and other components are in good working condition the whole year long.
In testing smoke detectors, the company uses Trutest’s Smoke Detector Sensitivity Test Equipment. This is a UL listed testing equipment used worldwide, highly reliable but very portable and easy to use. Through the use of this equipment clients are assured that SSMi makes sure that all smoke detectors are in good working condition after the PM Servicing has been completed. |
